Volunteer Emergency Service Personnel

Conmee Emergency Services is currently accepting applications for the positions of firefighter or emergency first responder.

The primary responsibility of the position includes structural and wildland firefighting, auto extrication, emergency response, and assisting with prevention and pubic education initatives.

All training and equipment is provided. An honorarium based on attendance at scenes, training and outside courses is provided. The Ontario Fire Curriculum is the standard for training. Ontario Fire College Courses are offered. There is the opportunity for you to recieve your D-Z Driver's License.

Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

1. minimum 17 years of age
2. good physical condition
3. ability to attend a minimum of 50% of callouts and training
4. have the initiative to follow the chain of command
