Library Information
The Conmee Public Library is located upstairs in the Conmee Community Centre, located at 19 Holland Road West. The Library is open on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m and beginning January 1, 2010, on Saturdays from 10 am to noon.. The Library also runs a Saturday Children's Program during the summer months. There is no charge for a Library card if you are a Conmee resident. The Library has titles for all ages and types. There are works of fiction in paperback or hardcover, from all your favourite authors. We have fantasy, science fiction, romance, and true crime among others. There are books on how to make a compost bin to how to repair your roof. There are biographies of kings and queens and prime ministers. There are books on history, geography, sociology and astronomy. We have a separate children's corner with kid friendly shelving and tables and chairs to invite reading. Why not come out and see what you can find?
The library is constantly adding new books to the collection. Why not come and see what we have. Joining is FREE! The library is open on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 10 am to noon, and there is internet access available. We also have inter-library lending availaible. If you are interested in a book that is not in our collection, let the librarian know and we will bring it in for you.
