Location and Opening Hours
The Conmee Public Library is located upstairs in the Conmee Community Centre, located at 19 Holland Road West.
Library hours are as follows:
Tuesday: noon - 4
Wednesday: 6:30 - 8
Thursday: noon - 4
Saturday: 10 - 1
Library Card & Book selection
There is no charge for a Library card if you are a Conmee resident. There are works of fiction in paperback or hardcover, from all your favourite authors. We have fantasy, science fiction, romance, and true crime among others. There are books on how to make a compost bin to how to repair your roof. There are biographies of kings and queens and prime ministers. There are books on history, geography, sociology and astronomy. We have a separate children's corner with kid friendly shelving and tables and chairs to invite reading.
Circulation Rules and Rates
Books Maximum loan is 6 at a time
Loan period is 14 days with a $0.10/day fine
DVDs and VHS Maximum loan is 2 at a time
Loan period is 7 days with a $1.00/day fine
Talking Books
Loan period is 7 days with a $1.00/day fine.
Replacement fee for a lost card is $10.
Printing/Photocopying $0.25 per page.
New Books and Internet
The library is constantly adding new books to the collection. There is high speed Internet and a computer available.
