REPAIRING DAMAGE TO COMMUNITY CENTRE CAUSED DURING RENTALS

WHEREAS the Council for the Township of Conmee has been approached by renters of the Community Centre to allow them to repair damage caused by attendees at their functions;

AND WHEREAS Council is concerned with the quality of workmanship, safety, and municipal liability for those repairs;

NOW THEREFORE, Council has determined that a list of acceptable contractors will be maintained at the municipal office, and that only those contractors listed may be authorized to make damage repairs at the Community Centre. Contractors not listed may make application to Council to be included as authorized personnel, and shall submit to Council proof of their ability to complete those repairs to industry standards. Council retains exclusive rights to add, amend or remove contractors from the list. This list shall be attached as Schedule "A" to this policy, and shall be forwarded to all renters who have damage occur during use of the Community Centre.
