1. CALL TO ORDER
Reeve Rydholm called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm.
2. ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA

THAT the Meeting Agenda be adopted as prepared.
CARRIED.
3. DECLARATION OF PECUNIARY INTEREST
There were no declarations of pecuniary interest on the part of any member of Council.
4. DEPUTATIONS AND PETITIONS
4.1 Mike Lehocky
Mr. Lehocky attended to Council to complain about the gravel truck hauling on Hume Road. Mr. Lehocky stated that the truck travels all weekend and all night. Mr. Lehocky felt that it was not necessary for trucks to haul on weekends. Reeve Rydholm noted that the operator was a private individual who may have jobs to complete on weekends. Mr. Lehocky felt that the trucks should have to go out Holland Road so that it would not impact his enjoyment of his property. Reeve Rydholm advised that the Township is looking at all haul permits and his comments and concerns would be taken into consideration.

8. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
8.1 JEPP Funding
Council directed the Clerk to put a Request for Proposal into the newspaper to find out what it would cost to provide generator power to the Municipal Building as is required by the Emergency Measures Act.
8.2 Jane Fraser re FedNor Proposal
Council read the notice from Jane Fraser that her FedNor application will not be forwarded at this time.

9. NEW BUSINESS
9.1 Township of Gillies - Resolution Support Request
Council directed the Clerk to obtain further information on possible future costs associated with this proposal before they would support the resolution.
9.2 Township of Neebing - Resolution Support Request

THAT the Council of the Township of Conmee supports the resolution from the Township of Neebing regarding Mobile Rural collection System for MHSW as per the resolution attached.

9.3 2007 DSSAB Report - filed
9.4 MNR - Gravel Pit Licenses
Council reviewed the applications for gravel pit licenses under the new Aggregate Resources Act. It was noted that one license application was for a pit that is not actively working as far as the Township is aware. Only currently active pits can be "grandfathered" under the Act. Council directed the Clerk to file an objection to the application with the MNR.
9.5 Road Inspection Date
Council set the fall Road Inspection Date to be October 12, 2007 beginning at 9:00 am.
