MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS 2026
The next municipal election for the Township of Conmee will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026, in accordance with the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.
This page provides information related to the 2026 municipal election and will be updated as additional details become available throughout the election period.
Voter Registration
Elections Ontario is responsible for preparing the Preliminary List of Electors (PLE) for the 2026 municipal election.
Until August 12, 2026, electors may check, update, or add their voter information through Elections Ontario’s Register to Vote service.
After August 12, 2026, electors will be redirected to the Township of Conmee for all voter list revisions.
Voters’ List Revisions (After August 12, 2026)
Beginning August 13, 2026, eligible electors may apply to:
- Add their name to the Voters’ List
- Correct information on the Voters’ List
- Remove a name from the Voters’ List
Information on how to apply for a revision, including application forms and deadlines, will be posted once the revision period opens.
Candidates and Third Party Advertisers
Information regarding:
- Candidate nominations
- Third party advertiser registrations
- Required forms and filing deadlines
will be posted in advance of the nomination period.
Nomination period opens: May 1, 2026
Nomination Day: August 21, 2026
Voting Information
Information regarding voting locations, advance voting opportunities, accessible voting, and voting hours will be published closer to Voting Day.
